Budget cuts targeting health care and social services.

TALLAHASSEE – Senate Democratic Leader Steven Geller ( D-Cooper City ), along with Senator Nan Rich (D-Weston) on Thursday will hold a press conference/availability to discuss proposed budget cuts targeting health care and social services. The lawmakers will be joined by Senate Democratic appropriations committees' vice-chairs to give an overview of the latest financial outlook and anticipated legislative actions.
 
The event will be held 12:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2008, in the Senate Democratic Office Conference Room, 228 SOB.
